Quantica Tech launches its own Quantic Bitcoin BTCQ and is working on a quantum interoperability protocol for integration with blockchains and quantum computing platforms. Their initiative is to integrate quantum computing with decentralized finance and covers smart contract ecosystems in Solidity, Rootstock, Vyper, Rust, and Plutus, while on the quantum frameworks side, it explicitly points to IBM's Python/Qiskit. The ultimate goal is seamless interaction between different blockchain networks and quantum platforms. Practically, their strategy is the integration of external script calls into smart contract source code using emulators to connect with quantum layers, which implies working through software environments rather than physical quantum hardware on the user side.

Quantic Bitcoin, SAFTs in 2025, and Fractional Units

The company positions Quantic Bitcoin as a project based on Quantum Interoperability and Quantic Algorithmization. Quantica Tech plans to offer Simple Agreements for Future Tokens (SAFTs) during 2025, which marks the early phase of the project with deferred rights to future tokens. The company is also considering the option of selling fractional units of Quantic Bitcoin under the names Photons, Quarks, and Bosons, mirroring Bitcoin's Satoshis, that is, as functional units of divisibility of value within BTCQ in a sense analogous to satoshis in Bitcoin.

In parallel, they are developing complementary initiatives Quantiacoin, USDT-Q, and Q-Solana, all currently in the maturation phase, forming an ecosystem contour around the BTCQ roadmap. At the same time, Quantica Tech points to the possibility of Quantum Algorithms on a Classical Computer, linking this to the role of emulators and interaction with quantum frameworks without requiring the user to have quantum hardware.
